About March for Life Utah
Twelve years ago, a Utah mom looked around and realized there were no pro-life marches in the state of Utah.
So she and a few friends decided to do something about it.
They grabbed some markers, made signs, gathered their children, and organized the very first March for Life Utah.
What began with a mom, a few friends, and homemade signs has grown into an annual grassroots gathering of Utahns from across the state who come together to publicly declare that LIFE matters.
March for Life Utah is for all Utahns, regardless of race, religion, religious affiliation or lack thereof, or political affiliation. We may come from different backgrounds and hold different beliefs, but we can stand together for the most vulnerable among us.
Children in the womb are human beings. They deserve human rights and protection. And abortion is wrong.
We also believe that standing for life means standing with mothers. This is a grassroots event led by people who deeply care about women, their babies, and their families. We want women to know that when they choose life, they do not have to walk alone.
For 12 years, Utahns have gathered to march, speak, remember, and stand for those who cannot stand for themselves.
And this year, we gather unashamed.
A Grassroots Utah Event
March for Life Utah is an independent, grassroots event and is not affiliated with the national March for Life organization.
This event was created by Utahns, for Utahns, because we believed our state needed a place where people could come together and publicly and peacefully stand for life.
Twelve years later, that same grassroots spirit remains at the heart of this March.
We are Utahns. We care about mothers. We care about babies. And we are unashamed to stand for life.
