We are growing! Pro-Life Utah is proud to host the first March for Life Utah in St. George. Join us on January 18th at 9 am at the Gardner Center on the beautiful Dixie State College Campus. Be inspired and informed on what is happening in the pro-life movement, and learn how you can be involved! Hear from inspiring speakers, and stand together in the fight for LIFE!
Travis M. Seegmiller, Sr., J.D.
Utah State Representative
Pro-Life Utah's Research Director
We will meet up for a short program in the Gardner Center. We are thrilled to announce our keynote speaker: Dusty Johns - a pro-life speaker, post-abortive woman, survivor of rape and incest, and mother of 6! She will share the story of her son Tyler, whose short life is changing hearts and minds.
Representative Travis Seegmiller will speak about pro-life efforts across the State. The main program will be followed by a breakout session where participants can learn the basics of Pro-Life 101 and how to get involved in the Utah pro-life movement. Our breakout session will be led by Pro-Life Utah's Research Director Katherine Bright. Hear from Mary Burkett, the mother of six and grandmother of thirty who has been involved in Utah politics for many years and is the epitome of a grassroots volunteer.
Participants will become informed about pro-life bills that will be a part of the 2020 Utah Legislative Session, and will find out which legislators are working for the most vulnerable Utah citizens! Build connections with like-minded individuals and learn ways that you can put your pro-life passions into action to help save lives. Pro-Life t-Shirts will also be available for $15.
For the service portion of our event, we will be holding our first annual diaper drive for the Hope Pregnancy Care Center of St. George! Bring a box of diapers or a package of wipes to the donation table at the march. This organization offers compassionate, life-affirming services that equip their clients with accurate information so they can each have an opportunity to make an informed, positive choice. They offer confidential and free practical, emotional, and spiritual support to women and men with an unplanned pregnancy. The services provided include self-administered pregnancy tests, options education, ultrasound referrals, community help organization referrals, pregnancy education, parenting education for women & men, material resources, and past abortion care and education support. Sizes NB, 3, 4 & 5 are needed. All diaper / wipe donations will be collected before the start of the program. Go to hopepregnancyutah.org for more information about this wonderful organization.
